1998 Pontiac Firebird Description

This 1998 Bright Purple Metallic (BPM) Firebird is a super light weight, minimally optioned, hardtop car with a V6 and 5-speed. The car has basically zero rust from spending its life in the desert SW in Nevada and Texas. I purchased the car from a performance shop in El Paso that took it in on trade. My plans were to do a V8 conversion and ultimately build a grudge/street race car. The rebuilt title is the result of light hail damage on the hood and quarter panels. Shortly before the shop in El Paso obtained the car, the right front was slightly damaged. The damage is strictly cosmetic with no structural damage. The damage to the bumper cover is shown in one of the pictures. The bottom mounting tab on the passenger fender was also broken and part of the headlight mechanism appears to be damaged even thought the headlight still works. The seats and the interior in general are in great condition as well as the door panels (no cracks); the dash pad is cracked unfortunately. The car runs and drives great for a 19 year old car. Since receiving the car I've installed the factory 5 spoke wheels shown in the first picture and began collecting V8 conversion parts. The remaining pictures are from when I purchased the car but the condition is the same since I've put very few miles on it.
If the winning bidder is interested in the conversion parts I'm willing to work with them. To date I have a complete "drop out" k-member from a 2000 Trans Am, underhood harness and ECM from a 98 T56 Formula, and a complete T56 assembly including clutch and flywheel.
