1979 Pontiac Trans Am Trans Am 10th Anniversary Description

1979 Pontiac Trans Am 10th Anniversary 400, 4-speed. 1 0f 1817. Non matching motor. Motor is from a 1977 W72 Trans Am, automatic200 HP. Very nice, newer driver-quality paint. Original style turbine wheels are nice but not perfect. New front grilles. Very nice original tail light panels. Mostly new interior with all new plastics, new carpet, sunvisors, etc. Nice, partially original seat upholstery. Nice door panels. All seat belts are present and accounted for. T-tops completely rebuilt with new weather-stripping, handles, etc. Mirrored T-tops have light scratches. OriginalT-top storage bags in trunk. Complete new jack assembly, space-saver spare, inflator and mat in trunk. Under hood is mostly complete and correct except for new modern 134a A/C conversion. The complete refrigeration portion of the A/C including Sanden rotary compressor, condenser coil, accumulator, restrictor tube, hoses and evaporator coil (in the A/C - heater box) have all been replaced. I have most of the original A/C components (with a non-working compressor) that goes with the car if the new owner wants them. Starts, runs, shifts, steers, drives and stops great! Good tires, brakes, belts, hoses, battery, etc. All glass in good condition. Have all new weather-stripping that goes with car along with some spare parts, manuals, etc. Most of thehard work has been done except that dash has typical crack. I will leave that for new owner to replace. Door locks and window motors working but weak. Rear window defroster does not work. Has non-working original AM/FM/8-track stereo.Has non-original incorrect working power antenna. All in all this is a very nice driver quality car that can be driven, shown and enjoyed for much less than a $40K concourse restored car.

This is a 38 year old car and is sold as is, where is. No warranty expressed or implied. Car is for sale elsewhere and I reserve right to end auction at any time. Shipping costs to be by buyer. I will assist with loading onto carrier of your choice or you can come to The Fabulous Florida Keys to pick up in person.
