2001 Pontiac Trans Am Trans Am Description

For sale is our 2001 Pontiac Trans Am. She's a black beauty. Original/Factory black paint and black interior including black leather. A true head turner. 138k original miles. Powerful 5.7L LS1 V8 and automatic transmission. Feels like you're in a fighter jet cockpit especially at night with the red glowing gauges. She is completely stock and original except for a Magnaflow muffler, and Volant cold air intake. Even has the original Monsoon sound system. She runs excellent, drives straight, rides smooth, very comfortable, and extremely reliable. Also gets decent MPG if you can resist not stepping on the go pedal too hard/often. She's been well maintained, with only full synthetic oil changes. AC blows ice cold. Steering wheel buttons control the Monsoon stereo functions. Everything works. It has the factory chrome wheels and the tires still have a lot of life left in them. And of course it has the factory tinted glass T-Tops you can take off anytime you feel like going "topless". The T-Tops fit perfectly in the rear hatch/cargo area.

There are only 2 minor things that need attention.1.) One of the rear speakers is blown out, and is noticeable if you put the Bass all the way up.
2.) Pass side headlight gear is stripped. Lights still flip up and down fine and work perfectly. But there is an annoying grinding sound for a few seconds when the lights flip closed.
Other than that, this is an awesome "Black Bird" LS1 Trans Am. They are becoming rare and it gets compliments and thumbs up all the time. Please note, the paint is original and while it has been kept garaged and always polished and waxed, there are some minor imperfections here are there. You have to be close to notice them. But I want to be honest and let you know that there are minor scratches, small scuffs, and tiny dings here and there. Overall, the original paint is in good shape. The black leather interior is in excellent shape, with the exception of a small stain on the dash cover. No major tears, rips, or cracks. This vehicle has never been in an accident.

Has the factory alarm, and comes with the original owner's manual. Clean Title in hand.

Note: We have the license plates, they will be put back on the vehicle. They were taken off in the photos because the car was being waxed. Everything is legit and legal with this Trans Am. License plates, current Registration & Tags until January 2018, Clean & Clear California Title.

Hate to see her go, but we must free up garage space. We have lowered the price and believe this is a very fair price for this 2001 Trans Am. She's just sitting in the cozy garage waiting for her new owner to drive her away.
