1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am - 63,100 original miles. 95% original, garage kept until the last couple years, Same owner for the last 36 years. New headliner just installed. It has a 301 engine with an automatic transmission. Great for driving in town.The car was driven down fromAlaska last springwith no problems. As with any older car, it's not perfect. There issome chrome pieces missing (didn't get put back on after painting). The paint does have some scratches if you look closely. The painters weren't particularly good. Originally, the car was silver with a bird on the hood, but the paint GM used lifted and bubbled. Hence, the new paint job.The engine is running well.The air conditioner beltshaven't been hooked up for years, don't need it in Alaska.The car really flies down the road and needs someone to take it home. The exhaust was changed from 1 tailpipe to 2 tailpipes. We have the original system if you want it. We are only the second owners, it was purchased from the original owner after about 1 year. The car was driven only in the summer for a couple of years and then it was garaged.Please feel free to ask about anything else not mentioned.
