1999 Porsche 911 Carrera Description

I'm the second owner of this showroom condition Porsche, and have owned it for the past 10 years, It has a spotless Carfax with no issues what so ever. It is one of 8 Porsches I currently own. I'm focusing my collecting now on air cooled models and need to make some room. This car has won numerous Porsche concours and garners attention any time it's on the road. It has wonderful updates; $5000 Fabspeed S/S exhaust and air intake, Xenon HID headlights, LED tail lights, led bulbs throughout, new more modern wheels with new tires (less than 300 miles) and the ridiculously expensive Porsche Techart interior (silver highlights). The car is and has always been, meticulously maintained. I have a "concierge" Porsche Authorized dealer that maintains all my cars - he performs most of the light service at my home and the more involved routine service at the shop. The detailing and finish on this car are spectacular - I hope the pictures portray that. The car has a hardtop that has been in a cover and has sat in the corner of one of the garages since I brought the car home and the soft top is in great condition with a clear rear window. It runs, drives, looks and handles as if it were new. I encourage prospective buyers to inspect/drive it in person. It's located in Smithtown, NY 11787. Please ask any questions before bidding.
I've fielded a few questions with regard to the IMS bearing and whether I've replaced it. Here's the answer - No. It isn't an issue with the 1999 M96 model - less than a 1% failure incident rate. The most common deficiency with the M96 engine and its revisions through 2008 is the failure of the ball-bearing found in the intermediate shaft. The intermediate shaft found in the M96 and later M97 engine was revised three times. The earliest design incorporated a dual-row ball-bearing used through model year 1999 and in some 2000 and 2001 models. Starting in model year 2000, Porsche began phasing out the dual row bearing and went to a smaller single row, with significantly less load capacity.
I've re-listed this car due to a non-paying bidder. Please have your financing in order before bidding. Thank you.
