Porsche 911 4S (Widebody With Factory GT3 Aerokit)(engine upgrades)
2006 Porsche 911 Description
This is a well-maintained, low mileage car owned by 3 people (including me) all over 45 years of age. The car originated in California and was purchased originally by a gentleman as his "dream car". He drove it for 4 years or so and developed dementia and his family sold using a high end dealer in California who sold it through the DuPont Registry. The car was then purchased by a gentleman in Boston who is affiliated with the Boston Red Sox. When I bought the car he got me great seats at Fenway Park.
The owner in Boston was known to me because (1) he was a Porsche aficionado and (2) because I had just 9 months before, purchased a 1987 Porsche 928 S4 from him. He showed me this 911 and was very proud of it and offered it to me later that year. In turn, I sold my 928 and a 911 4S to buy this one. I am owner no.3.
The Boston guy did a few things that are notable. He added the silver wheels on the picture (which I no longer have), he also added 997 NHP x51 exhaust headers, NHP catalytic converters ($2200 parts alone), a IPD Plenum intake (875.00 parts alone), a FAbspeed Competition Intake Kit ($565.00 parts alone). I have the original parts which came off the car and I also have the paperwork to confirm the install and parts. The total install price was over $6,000.00.
After I brought her to Texas, I added a Kenwood system (navigation, bluetooth, iPod hookup) for $1,000, and added the black wheels. I also fabricated and installed my own grill guards to keep leaves/etc... from blowing into the radiators on the front. There is an aftermarket mesh kit you can buy- which i ordered- but it was pure crap. I installed heavy grade meshing that is powder coated from the factory and you can see it from the pics. Since I've owned her, I've probably only put 5,000 miles on her. She's a garage queen. As you can see from my other pics, I drive two other vehicles as my every day cars.
The car is a 9.8 out of 10 in my humble opinion. There is very, very little wear on this car and no signs of abuse. Zero. She growls down the road and when pressed literally sounds like a jet passing you by.
So why am I selling her? Well I've committed to purchase a new Mercedes SL550. This car is likewise a 2 seater, and with 500 hp twin turbos, i have very little need for 2 exceptionally fast cars.
I have a clear title and she's ready to go. That being said, I'm not interested in being low-balled. This car had a factory selling price of $122,405. The wide body is gorgeous and stands out. The factory aero kit was $6,990 and is beautiful. She looks like a GT3 without the GT3 price. More car than I ever needed or wanted to be honest.
The upgrades in the engine give it a boost in power. Somewhere in my paperwork I have or had the dyno measurements so I don't want to quote it and not be accurate. Suffice it to say, she's not ordinary by any means.
Take a look at the sticker price pics for all the specifics. The interior color is Terracotta/black. Its hard to describe Terracotta, but its not red and its not orange. Its somewhere in between. The gauges are also Terracotta to match. Also, I have the Terracotta floor mats (and black ones).
Anything else, please ask. The car is located near Dallas, Texas.
If you are a serious bidder I can make a video of her starting, sound, driving up so you can really see how beautiful she is.
Lastly, it has an installed LoJack System.
