1998 Porsche Boxster Description

This Boxster formerly belonged to late actor James Avery aka "Uncle Phil" of the Fresh Prince of BelAir fame and his wife Barbara. Have owner's entry signed by Barbara Avery on the purchase date 4/22/98 and the Beverly Hills Porsche dealer's stamp. Also found a Vamco Cleaner's receipt on Hyperion Ave, L.A. with James Avery listed as the customer in the car. Vehicle has 90418 miles.
Engine was replaced at 38809 miles by Carlsen Porsche as a goodwill replacement. Total miles on engine now 51609. Car does not appear to have been in any accidents other than a small impact on the left corner of the rear bumper. There is some damage to the clear coat on the front hood and 2 small dents in the rear trunk lid. There are a few small paint chips here and there as well. Paint is original. Runs great and is garaged.
The following work has been performed on the car recently:
At 80479 miles (engine had 41670 miles at that time) a new IMS (intermediate shaft) ceramic bearing from LN Engineering was installed along with the engine main seal, a new clutch, flywheel was resurfaced. New serpentine belt for aleternator water pump replaced.
The front and rear rotors were turned and front brake pads were replaced.
A new rear vinyl window was installed around that time.
More recently new Michelin Pilot Sport high performance rear tires were installed March 2016 at 89910 miles. They have 508 miles on them.
This past April all 4 new O2 sensors were replaced.
Installed a new AOS (air oil separator valve ).
New front and rear trunk lid struts have been installed.
Oil changed at 87512 miles.
Included are a brand new set of leather seat covers that have not been installed and a new set of rear brake pads. The airbag light is on possibly due to passenger seat removal at one time or the seat belt buckles may need replacing.
