This listing is for 1971 Porsche Targa 914 2.0 Convertible (Hard top is removable) fuel injectio, 4 Cylinde, 5 speed manual transmission. I purchased this Porsche more than 24 years ago when I own a German autoshop. This came from an auction with salvage title but there no damage anywhere in the car that we could find .Our best guess was that title was changed for some other reasons such as to lower the back due registration or ticket fees at DMV at the time.its an old trick that is still common in CA.
Engine and transmission was rebuild and done by previous owner and it has around 3000 miles on the new engine transmission.All older engine and transmission parts were given to us by auction which we could provide to you for free along with engine computer, few other parts .
I have driven this car for less 600 miles in the past 24 years. Mostly, it was parked at a indoor storage.I am retired German Auto technician and grown up around these sort of cars. kept it orginally to pass it to my kid but he is too little and can't wait another 15 years.
