Clean title in hand, ready to go.
Bought it from the Original Owner, currently 143,xxx miles. (i drive it every day) Right off the bat, it's not perfect. It is what it is: a 12 year old Porsche with 143,XXX miles. But we've put a lot of time, money, and effort into getting her ready for the next owner. Would make a great commuter car, especially in the winter. Perhaps a good first car for your high-schooler/college student?
Comes with:
- Heated seats, bi-xenon headlamps, leather, electric memory seats, 4.5l V8, turbo-style wheels, Bose Audio System, Moonroof. See window sticker.
First, the good:
- 2nd owner, with complete history
- Repaired 4WD system, including 4wd switch, transfer case motor, and transfer case control module (June 2016)
- Just passed NYS inspection with flying colors (June 2016)
- Changed air filters - there are two (June 2016)
- Mobil 1 oil / oil filter change (June 2016)
- New wipers (June 2016)
- New liftgate struts (May 2016)
- New battery (May 2016)
- New Radio/Navigation (does not work with original cd changr though) (june 2016)
- new brake rotors and pads (June 2016)
- New Set of Cooper tires (August 2016)
- Engine purrs, runs great, nice driver
- Leather seats are in great shape
- No paintwork, metal body is in pretty good shape, except for driver's side rear door and rear left bumper hole
- All accessories included, including cargo cover, retractable pet netting, CD changer, NAV CD, unused spare tire, owners manual, floor mats, rear Husky cargo protection, headrests, tools. Only missing item is OEM air pump, which broke a while ago.
In interest of full disclosure: The Bad:
- Airbag light is on. Most likely side airbag fault in wiring under driver's seat (very common in 2004s).
- Intermittent right cornering light error. Currently no error. Again, common.
- sometimes front suspension knocks when breaking hard, might need new tie rods.
- Menu/screen on instrument cluster is starting to flicker when its hot
- Center vents remain closed. Common problem - the vent servo motors are likely toast. A/C and heat work well on the side vents, however. Since the temps are comfy inside, and the repair is time consuming, I just left it as is.
- Various scratches, gouges, dings. Again, not perfect.
- only one set of keys, thats how it came :/
- Accident on Carfax. Original owners Sister tapped the car in front of her in traffic at 5MPH. No claims were submitted, no damage except for a broken license plate frame. Cops were called just in case, and that's why it's on the Carfax.
I think that's it, but I could be missing something. Like I said, it's not perfect. But is a good driver. Someone out there could use it. Price to sell!
