History & Engine Replacement at Porsche

The car was originally delivered to the first of its 3 owners on June 21st 2003 in California. It was enjoyed until late 2008 when its second owner acquired it inArizona. The 3rd and final owner bought the car in April 2011 and has owned it until today.

Although the 3rd and most recent owner replaced the IMS bearing in 2011 as a precaution to avoid any engine issues, an engine replacement was required this year. The engine was replaced with a brand new one Porsche in October 2016. Its brand new engine is covered under an unlimited mileage warranty throughout North America until October 2018 and is much more reliable than the original motor.This was nearly a $19,000 job and the work is certified by authorized Porsche mechanics.

Only 175 miles have been put on the new engine since the replacement - everything is in order mechanically.

Maintenance & Records

The car has been very well maintained throughout its life. From 2008 to 2011, the car was regularly serviced by its second owner at iAUTOHAUS in Tempe, Arizona as indicated in the CarFax report.

We have all of the service records from 2011 until today, the vehicle was always serviced at a Porsche dealership. Of course, we have the $19,000 invoice for the engine replacement included in the service records.

The 4S model is a worthwhile upgrade over the standard Carrera as it features upgraded red caliper sport brakes, quad pipe sport exhaust, sport suspension and an all-wheel drive system. Impeccable CarFax report and no accidents. Comes with all owner’s manuals and 2 keys. US-spec vehicle.
