2001 Porsche Boxster Description

An excellent example of the Porsche Boxster available for purchase. Drive it anywhere, anytime. It is in great shape, both cosmetic and mechanical. No warning lights. Lots of maintenance just completed. Arizona born, documented dealer maintained for first 13 years and 109K miles, rust free. Tires are Bridgestone Potenza. Rears have only 7K on them, fronts have equally good tread.
Preventative maintenance work performed in last 200 miles;

• New AOS, air oil separator
  
• New spark plugs and spark plug tubes
• New water pump
• New low temp 71 degree C thermostat
• New oil and filter change
• New clutch pilot and release bearing* (see note below)
• New rear main seal
• New coolant expansion tank
• New Dexcool coolant flush and fill.
  

*Note: Transmission was removed to access and evaluate clutch, intermediate shaft bearing, rear main seal, etc. Clutch and pressure plate appeared not to have very many miles and was not changed. Intermediate shaft bearing cover did not have factory bolts, so it appears to have already been changed. Rear main seal was changed as preventative measure. There was no visible metal flake in the drained oil or oil filter.
Extras. There are three keys. Two with remotes that work. One that is valet. The owners manuals are included. Almost all of the maintenance records are included, but not 100%.
