2004 Porsche Boxster S Special Edition Convertible 2-Door 3.2L
2004 Porsche Boxster S Special Edition Convertible 2-Door Description
I am selling my 2004 Porsche Boxster S 50th Anniversary Edition. The car is #317 of 1953 made in 2004. The anniversary edition Boxster is equippedwith 3.2L flat 6 making 264hp slightly more than the standard Boxster S. The color is GT Silver Metallic, a color only found on the Carrera GT and "40 Years of the 911" models. The soft top is in Cocoa, a dark brown color used by Porsche for the first time. For additional visual emphasis, wheel spokes are painted in Seal Grey, a colored Porsche crest adorns each wheel hub cover, and the monoblock brake calipers have an aluminum paint finish. Other exclusive exterior styling features include silver-painted grills above the rear strut openings, a specially created stainless steel tailpipe, chrome plated and polished Boxster S lettering on the rear deck lid, and safety bar padding that matches the car's interior. It has the ROW suspension, wheel spacers, and short throw shifter from Porsche. These were all done at the factory.
I have completed a lot of recent service, it has a LN Engineering IMS bearing, Clutch, and RMS done within the last 500 miles. I had 4 new Pirrelli Pzero Rosso summer tires installed, New water pump, and thermostat. Updated the front motor mount to the 987 style. New ignitioncoils, and fuel pump. New heater core, new sway bar end-linksin the front. New rear upper control arms/tracking arms. New battery, fresh fluids. New cabin Filter, and BMC Air Filter. New Borla exhaust, still have the stock one with anniversary edition exhaust tip.
The only downside to the car and this is me being picky. The car has a small bump on the front drivers side rocker panel, it looks like a jack handle might of bumped it as some point. This was on the car when i purchasedit, you don't see it unless you look for it. The other item is, it doesn't have the Cocoa floor mats, I have been looking to purchase a set, but they never come up for sale.
The car is garaged and sits under a car cover most of the time. I don't get much of an opportunity to drive it. The carfax is clean, and I have the title free and clear in my possession. I will include the car cover and 2 sets of keys.
I am only selling it because I have a new addition to family and doesn't make sense for me to hold on to it. Autocheck is incorrect in their history of the car, there are no accidents, everything is original and the owner count is off I am the 4th owner. Car has been dealer serviced almost its entire life.
I am firm on the price, this car is ready to go.
I have had a few people ask for trades, I am only open to BMW e46 M3 & e39 M5 in Manual or e60 M5. We can work out the details, as long as you have a clean car.
