1998 Porsche Boxster Base Description

This is a 1998 Porsche Boxster with Tiptronic Transmission. The car has 51,036 miles and is in very good condition, There are no known mechanical or electrical issues. No Fault codes. Car runs very well and looks great. I am selling it because I don't drive it much any more.To my knowledge, I am the third owner. It was originally a Florida car and has no rust anywhere on the body.Known Faults: There is a small, rather poor paint repair on the bonnet and right front fender just in front of the driver. This was something caused by the previous owner I'm not sure of the cause. It definitely was not corrosion and should be easily repaired by a good body shop. However, it is not very noticeable. There are also a few parking lot dings in the passenger side door. The drivers door has scratches just above handle. The interior is clean with no rips or tears. The seats are slightly discolored and the carpets need cleaning. There is a scuff mark on the top of the passenger door card.The air conditioning works but should be recharged to make it colder. I never use it.The top is in good condition, but there are two small cracks in each side of the rear plastic window where it joins to the top. The radio has just recently stopped playing with any volume. It works but can barely be heard.
The battery is one year old. The tires have good tread. The car just passed New York State Inspection. The car runs very well and is a blast to drive. Everything works as it should with the exceptions noted above. The reserve is below book value for this car.I will not make arrangements to ship this car.The winning bidder must deposit $500 via Paypal within 48 hours of auction completion. Remainder of payment must be made by cash or Cashier's Check within 7 days. If paying with Cashier Check, it must cleared before the car is released.
