I will start with the rust situation, the car has absolutely zero rust! The floors pans are perfect, the body has zero rust, the under carriage has zero rust. As for the engine, the motor was torn out by a NASCAR motor expert and rebuilt and remaped. The vibration seems better then when it was a 2.0. This car puts out more horsepower then the v6 model. When I purchased the car the heat exchangers were removed. But, I do have the tubing to hook up the heat exchangers from the exhaust manifold to the exchanger box. All electrical work; lights, horn, blinkers, headlights, tail lights, interior light, everything in this car is in excellent condition. I can gurentee you will not find a better looking, driving, sounding or faster 914 out there! I have looked at 914's going for $40,000 because they have the v6 (which mine is faster by 100+ hp). You are buying a one of a kind. Not to mention everything is original except for the upgraded suspension and modified original motor!

The head was welded and the motor was bored out at 4.060, 3400 stroke = k76cid technically puts it at 2.9 liters. I can send you recipes of all the parts the were custom made or ordered from Porsche directly. The parts consist of aluminum pistons, stage lll cam shaft+lifters, magnesium bronze valve gaskets to name a few. All parts are made to handle high performance. This car is a one-off engine and pushed to the limits. But, again the engine is completely build for high performance! It could even withstand a turbo added to it. I have the books on the builds and all ducments.
