Don't miss this rare opportunity to own this beautiful 1998 Carrera S in GT Silver Metallic over gray leather. This is 1 of only 993 S models and the last year of the magical air cooled engine. The S has the wide body, suspension and brakes from the Turbo with the normally aspirated engine for what I consider a more pure and engaging driving experience. 1636.8 hours on the engine at 40508 miles when I bought it in May. Factory Aero Package, Motor Sound Package, 18" Technology Design Wheels, Colored Wheel Crests, Comfort Seats left and right, Cruise Control, Sunroof, Metal Door Sill with Insignia. Pioneer DEH-X8700BS with Bluetooth, XM, Pandora and iPhone connectivity was added September 2015 by Leith Porsche for convenience and entertainment if you ever want a change from the intoxicating engine and exhaust sounds. I don't but the bluetooth is nice to have. Leith has done all of the work on the car.
Simply put, this car is mint. There are zero scratches, nicks, or dings on the car. The only exterior imperfection is a small scuff on one of the spokes on one rear wheel. There is a little visible wear on the drivers seat and a scuff on the top of the horn push on the steering wheel. There are Michelin Pilot Sports all around. The fronts are 225/40ZR18 2014 with 10/32 and the rears are 285/30ZR18 2014 with 8/32. Front brakes are 9mm or 80% and rears are 7mm 60%. There has been ~$26000 of mechanical service performed since 2006 and 26541 miles. All of the soft spots on the 993 have been addressed. One of the reasons the car is so mint is that it had a total repaint by Leith Porsche September 2015. Everything was painted including the wheels, door jambs, hood, trunk and added factory Porsche Aero package with roof spoiler, front spoiler, rear wing with euro lights and bumper guards. Everything was done at Leith and have all of the receipts and documents for everything. Original color was red.
I have all books, books, stamped service manuals, 3 keys, and 1 owner carfax from my purchase. Inspections, visits etc are welcome in Louisville, KY. There was a very minor cosmetic rear bumper scrape on Carfax May 2004. Clean and clear Kentucky title is in my name.
