2005 Porsche Cayenne Description
I am selling this 2005 Porsche Cayenne S for a good friend of mine. She has asked me to sell it on her behalf, as I have a knowledge of both eBay, and cars in general. The reason she wishes to sell is because she wants something a bit more economical, 4-cyl and Japanese.
The car has 88,500 miles and counting, runs, shifts, drives, and stops well. I would rate this car in "very good" condition for its age, and certainly has great appeal. If you are looking for a Cayenne and don't want the hassle of maintaining forced induction engines (Turbo) or gas-guzzling V8's, this might be the car for you! Make no mistake, this 6-cylinder moves; It is a Porsche after all!
Known flaws are as follows:
- The small, overhead compartment that holds sunglasses does not stay closed. There is currently a piece of clear tape holding it shut. This is likely a simple repair and more of a nuisance.
- There is a tear, as can be seen in the photos, in the center armrest of the rear seats.
- There is a quarter-sized hole in the driver side floor mat from the drivers heel gassing/braking.
- There are random small dings, dents around the car as can be expected for a car of its age.
- The car is currently equipped with snow tires that have roughly 50% tread life remaining.
Overall, I would say this car represents a good deal for something looking for a Cayenne. It has lower mileage than most examples I have seen, and is good condition. This should make someone very happy.
Please feel free to ask any questions, and please be sure you are credible and can afford the car before you try to purchase it.
Thanks for looking!
