1957 Porsche 356 Description

1957 Porsche 356 Speedster. Kit was purchased in 1996 and just completed Aug 2015. Built on a 1970 VW Beetle pan with a 1600 engine, 4 speed manual trans. Car shows 3028 Kilometers (1882 miles). Engine over hauled about 5 years ago, trans fluid just flushed, fuel system flushed, rear brake cylinders replaced and has a disc brake front conversion. Lowered front and rear. New tires, new steering box, just aligned. New wheels covers, side trim and added side view mirror. This car runs great and needs no mechanical work. Everything works except fuel gauge reads backyards.
Car has a few small oil leaks from engine, no heater or defroster, and some glass stress lines in rear quarter and top of door, no side curtains Great driving car lots of fun.
