Condition of the paint is easily a 9 out of 10 save a few tiny nics from normal use. The car has a clear autocheck with no accidents reported, but shows one collision on Carfax that must have been minor because paint and body look perfect. All body panels all line up as straight as an arrow and the car has a mirror like finish. The convertible top looks brand new and rear window is super clear. Power convertible top functions perfectly. Has a great looking set of Porsche 18" powder coated black wheels with no curb rash. The interior is in excellent condition. Smells like leather inside and seats still feel like new when you sit on them. Both seats are full power and rear seats look brand new. Rear side door panels and rear shelf both look excellent. Original carpeting is in excellent shape and has factory set of Porsche floor mats in good shape. Dash console looks excellent as well as center console and arm rest which are the best I have seen condition wise on a 996. Has an upgraded Kenwood stereo with Hands free Bluetooth for the phone, XM radio, CD, High Definition FM, AUX, USB, and Garmin Navigation (best double din NAV on the market). Has amplifier in trunk compartment as well as upgraded speakers in front doors. Has rear wind deflector. Door panels both look excellent and all four window go up and down with no issues. Comes with 2 factory keys with keyless entry and working factory alarm. Mechanically the car runs and drives excellent. Feels tight and on point, like a car with 43k miles should. No funny rattles or noises from suspension. Engine runs very strong and sounds great. Transmission is tight with no grinding or popping out or whines etc. Has a nice set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires with about 70% up front and about 50% in the rear. The car drives excellent at freeway speeds and has no whines coming out of rear end to worry about. The car looks dry underneath and very original. Has already been inspected by Porsche mechanic and it was given the green light. No sign of IMS noise or issue, although I do not have records showing it was replaced.
