Very fun car. 1986 Porsche. Have owned it for about a year and a half. Previous owner hit a small pole on the drivers side front fender. I replaced the fender, hood, A arm, and strut. Car runs and drives amazing. I have gone through every major system. All new fluids throughout. All new plugs and wires. I got the car running and up to operational excellence and then put some Lindsey Racing "go fast" goodies on it. Has LR 951 max chip, Autometer boost gauge, 3.0 bar fuel pressure regulator, and LR boost enhancer/controller.
Car is not without its imperfections, but that is reflected in the price. I would say this is more of a weekend cruiser/racer or track day driver than I would say it is a daily driver. If you wanted to daily drive it, it will need some small things addressed, like the power window switches, needs a radio, cracked windshield, AC needs recharged but heat works.
TONS of replaced parts. I upgraded the rear shocks to 968 shocks. It has the rare 951 phone dials that are 16x7 in the front and 16x8 in the back.
Car is priced to sell. Just check out the Hagerty values on these mean machines. #1'sare bringing close to $20K these days.
