The Boxster S uses the base Boxster as a jumping-off point and adds a more powerful engine, dual central exhausts, a lower ride height, bigger wheels, xenon headlights, an upgraded stereo and larger front brakes with red-painted brake calipers. The Boxster S is powered by a 3.4-liter flat-6 that churns out 315 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque. In addition to the standard S features, this car came equipped with the following desirable options:

With less than 3,000 miles since new, this car is in exception condition. It looks, drives and even smells new. However in the interest of full disclosure I'll mention the front bumper contacted a post at low speed. There was no structural damage, no airbag deployment or anything of lasting concern. The damage was limited to the front bumper skin which was removed and replaced with a new Porsche OEM bumper skin. The paint match is spot on and the repair is indiscernible to the critical eye. Besides the front bumper skin all other panels retain original factory paint. I have included a picture of the damage as well as some detailed pictures of the front end as it is today to show the excellent color match. Since the repair was minimal it was paid for out-of-pocket without insurance involvement. The only other known flaws are light curb rash on the passenger side wheels and some scratches on the passenger side underbody (see pictures).
With the exception of the aforementioned items this car is in excellent shape. It is a pleasure to drive and everything operates as it should. The Rhodium Silver Metallic is stunning, and paired with the black interior make it a classic Porsche combination. The Platinum Satin Carrera wheels are well suited with this combination and as a bonus they mask brake dust well. The PDK transmission, Sport Chrono Package, sport seats and Infotainment Package make this a sporty example with many driving comforts. This is a great opportunity to essentially buy a close to new, well optioned, Boxster S for a fraction of the original cost.
This car belonged to a dear friend of mine who is no longer with us. He was an avid Porsche enthusiast who had a long history of Porsche ownership going back to the early 1970s when he went into a Porsche dealership to buy a 914 but left with a Kelly Green 911. He was a distinguished Air Force Lt. Colonel, World Class triathlete, marathoner, highly respected multisport Coach, and all around good guy. This car reflects his excellent taste for quality and performance, and now it's time for his beloved Boxster S to be enjoyed by a new owner.
