Firstly, let me thank you for taking the time to look at my auction. This MY 2002 911 Carrera 996 is a very nice vehicle. It is well serviced and cared for since purchased new from the dealer. I know there are a fair number of Porsche 996s to look at and choose from. Some may actually be nicer than this one, but the price won’t be as competitive. This vehicle has no excuses as it is a nice car. It drives, looks and sounds great. I did the recent service and maintenance it needed and just occasionally drove it around the block and started it up to warm it up and keep it operating well. It has several clear title searches including but not limited to CARFAX. It is very nice and can drive home to anywhere. If you want further pictures or have further questions, please send me an email through ebay or give me a call or text me at 801-699-6542. Feel free to send me any serious questions that you may have, however. I believe and educated buyer is a good buyer. Thank you for looking.

My driving impression is as follows. Car runs well It has a throaty exhaust with a fabspeed crossover and sport mufflers. The suspension system looks and feels in excellent condition. The driveshaft is quiet. The car runs smoothly and pulls nicely. The engine is quiet and smooth and the transmission and clutch shift flawlessly. No unexplained noises. The car seems to need nothing except to be driven. I also recently did a compression and leak down test when I changed out he spark plugs of the engine and here is what I found:
Cylinder #1 181psi with 2% Leakdown
Cylinder #2 184psi with 2% Leakdown
Cylinder #3 181psi with 2% Leakdown
Cylinder #4 183psi with 2% Leakdown
Cylinder #5 179psi with 2.5% Leakdown
Cylinder #6 185psi with 2% Leakdown
Aside from the excellent compression and leakdown numbers, what really sets this 2002 Porsche 911 apart from many of the others you see is the low milage and solid mechanical condition.
The Bad:
This may be the most capable 911 for the money out of the box ever made and it doesn't deserve to sit in the garage. They have a bad rap with a few engineering flaws that if addressed make them a great car for the money. It needs to be driven by a person that will care for it and take it on vacation and other long drives. It is clean and nice. It is not a concours car, but it is a solid driver. It will provide many more years of good driving.
This 996 can be picked up with a car carrier easily on location and I will help to arrange loading 24-7 at no cost. It should only cost about $350 to ship this to Southern California, $600 to Texas, $700 to Chicago, and about $800-$1000 to most East Coast locations if not less. I can also provide some carrier names that can deliver this vehicle if you are interested. You can just as easily fly in and drive home. I have dozens more pictures if you like, I would be happy to email them to you. I will be happy to arrange payment details and have title in hand. Please let me know if you have any questions or need any help figuring out if this is the right 996 for you. Hope you enjoyed the ad and if you are seriously looking for a great vehicle, don't miss out on this car. We allow and encourage PPI by any shop of your choice and can give some recommendations with phone numbers and contact info.
