You can buy a 911 like everyone else out there. Having owned a 356 and 911, the Cayman holds a special place.
Some purists don't buy Caymans because they don't like the engine specs and feel it is not powerful enough. Yeah, it is a 6 cylinder, 24 valve, 3.4L engine, but this car moves fast enough for anyone who is not professionally racing. Porsche claims the Cayman S will lap the North circuit of the Nuerburgring in eight minutes, 20 seconds (running 19 inchers and with Sports Chrono), just a few seconds slower than the Carrera.
What I love about it even more is the look of the Cayman. It has this really badass, futuristic line that juxtaposes against some classic Porsche curves. The lines are sexy.
We chose the Carmon Red Metallic color because it is so rare and looks stunning in person. This car has been garaged, regularly serviced and regularly detailed. The stunning lines, central dual exhaust, those rear fenders and the sand beige interior will take your breath away.
We are going to list this locally as well so the auction may end early.
And, we are letting her go because we do have to get a little practical to make way for a car seat, which means a Panamera.
