1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Targa Low Miles
1991 Porsche 911 Targa Description
First off, This is a rare Porsche 964 911 Carrera 2 Targa with 5-speed manual transmission. As you can see, it is Guards Red with black interior. I purchased this car about 3 years ago and have put about 1200 miles on it over this time. It has basically sat in my garage the last 3 years. I've come to the conclusion that it is time for me to sell it because I've basically lost interest. Anyways, I will describe this car to you.
1991 911 Porsche Carrera 2 Targa60,750 original milesOriginal PaintNever wrecked/clean Car FaxSome service historyReplaced original OEM wheels with new OZ 17'' wheels w/new tires. Original factory wheels are included.New Koni shocks and strutsAftermarket stereo system, but original factory CD Player comes with the carInterior is all original and is in decent shape for a 26 year old car. Some wear showing. This car sounds great. It drives like a Porsche shouldGreat clutch, it shifts like a new car...very fun to drive.Targa top is in good shape.Always garage kept since I've owned it.Gauges work great(although the clear plastic fuel guage lens has a crack)Previous owner had amp installed in trunk. Therefore the spare tire will not fit. The spare is included. Now to the issues. There is a ding on the hood and a few on the right door. A good PDR guy could get most if not all dings out. I'd never want to Paint on an original car with such nice Paint unless I had to.The original Paint still shines like new, but the headlamp bezels are faded some and there are some small scratches and rock chips here and there, nothing major.Glass is in great shape.Power windows work goodDriver side power seat has a mind of its own. It don't seem to want to work.Driver's seat belt receiver is broke, I purchased a correct replacement but it needs to be installedAirbag light was on when I bought it, it still is. I'm not sure if it's the broken seat belt causing it, but I'm no mechanic, but read it could be a multitude of minor things after doing research.A/C was blowing warm air when I bought it. I had it charged as soon as I got it and it blew cold air for the short time I drove it. It's basically been sittting since late summer/early fall of 14 so now it's blowing warm again. The vinyl dash has a rise on the passenger side which is common in these cars as they age.Overall, it's a great car that would make a great driver with some TLC. I had plans to make this a perfect car and it has that potential, but my priorities and interests have changed. So, if you are looking for an all original, low mileage, accident free, air cooled 911. This would be great for you. It's a great daily driver as it sits, it is in better shape than most cars from this era.
I have many more pictures available and would be happy to send to you. If you have any questions, feel free to email me or I can give you my phone number if you want to talk about it. Thanks for looking.
