1988 Porsche 944 Description

Selling this 1988 Porsche 944. It is the base model with the 2.5l NA engine, four wheel disc brakes, and a 5 speed manual. It has almost 111,000 miles and has had an easy life. The timing belts were last changed in 2009 but have only seen about 6000 miles. The leather seats are in good condition and the driver seat is power. Some of the seat stitching needs redone but there are no rips or tears in the leather. It has some cracks in the dashboard which is very common with this car. The tires have good tread but are not new. Brakes have about 6k on them and I believe the clutch is the original. Power windows and sunroof work and all dash switches are good. This car originally had a rear windscreen wiper but it has been removed. The car has been reliable and very fun to drive. Unfortunately, I need the garage space so it has to go. A few other notes to answer some frequently asked questions. 1. I have replaced the brakes, wiper motor and a plastic switch on the heater. I also replaced all the fluids except the brake fluid. 2. I had the timing belt changed by the local Porsche dealer. I believe I have the receipt but I can have them provide details if needed. I also had them re-tension the belt after about 2000 miles.3. The clutch is fine but I believe it is the original. Parking brake and suspension are also good.4. There are no leaks.5. The driver seat is power and works fine. The glass on the passenger side mirror is cracked. Sunroof is power and also works.6. Odometer works.7. The car is licensed and insured.

One other note... The power steering pump is starting to wine a bit when it is cold. I ordered a pump seal rebuild kit but I haven't had a chance to do the rebuild.
