1989 Porsche 944 Turbo S Description

Hello, up for sale is a very rare car indeed. I'm selling my 1989 Porsche 944 Turbo S. The car is in excellent condition. It is black on black and the interior is in immaculate condition with no cracks on the dash or rips on the seats. The interior is like in brand new condition and you can still smell the leathers inside the car. Car runs and drives like it just left Stuttgart Germany. Porsche only made 1385 of these cars for 1989. It was the last year they made these cars for North America, but one more year in other countries. I am the 4th owner of this vehicle and I have all the service records since new. I spare no expense in maintaining this car. The car gets the best of everything. I've own this car since June of 1995. The car has never seen rain or snow under my ownership. This car spent most of it's life in a garage since I've owned it. I barely ever have the time to drive this car. The car is up to date with all of it's maintain service. I personal change the oil myself every 1,000 miles with Mobil 1 sythentic motor oil. Timing belt is a very critical issue when maintaining these cars. I replaced new timing belt about 1,600 miles ago and I've also replaced all of the entire engine seals in the engine so there's no leaks what so ever. I spent $4,000 in replacing all of the engine seals. Wife hates the car and since I'm a family man now, she states that the car must go or I go, but I'm not in any hurry to sell my car as long as it gets goes to a good home and owner who will cherish and take care of this car like I have. I love this car with a passion and it's the fastest Porsche I've ever own. My car is all original except the radio and wheels. I installed 18 inch Speedline Allessio wheels on my car and it makes the car looks very unique standing out on it's own. Speedline is an Italian company that makes wheels for Porsche and Ferrari. The wheels cost me almost $8,000 including tires. These are the same wheels you see from the movie Bad Boys on the 1994 black Porsche 911 turbo S. These wheels are no longer available and are discontinued long ago. The radio is an Alpine detachable face in the car. This Porsche also has a very rare option in the car which is a factory Porsche phone made by a company call Fujitsu. The phone is actually a cell phone that you can take with you cordless or leave it plugged in the car. I've never activated or use this phone ever, because I have my own cell phone and I barely ever drive this car enough to keep the phone activated. Therefore it would be worthless for me to open up another phone line service which I don't even use. I left the phone alone just to keep it's originality in the car. It looks similar to the Motorola Startac cell phone, because it flips open just like it. Porsche factory mounted these phones on the center console of these models. This was a $5,000 option back then when requesting this option. I've only seen a few handful of Porsches having these factory Fujitsu phones. Most of them that I've seen are in the 911 twin turbo cars. The only thing this car needs is a new clutch. I can feel the clutch is starting to slip a little, but the car is totally driveable with no issue what so ever. The car has a clean carfax and a clean clear title and believe or not, this is one of a few Porsche 944 Turbo S with the highest Autocheck score on Ebay. This car received a high score of 79 and I urge you to check all of the Porsche 944 model scores here on Ebay to compare and see for yourself. As an added bonus I'll include a brand new never used in the box Alpine CDA 7998 Fantom face radio if the buyer choose the buy it now option only. I paid $1,000 for this radio back in August of 2003 and it's been sitting in my garage since. I was going to put this radio in my Ferrari, but decided to go with a Navigation system instead. Text me for additional pictures of the car's interior or exterior upon request at 1-847-767-1928 Leslie or feel free to ask any questions or call me for more info on the car. There's just too much to list on this car. I'm sure I've missed something. Although I may be interested in accepting trade for an Acura NSX. Will be happy to assist in shipping this vehicle to your destination, but you must find your own carrier. Shipping charges and fees are on your own expenses. Good luck and happy bidding!
