1997 Porsche 911 993
1997 Porsche 911 C2 Description
1997 911 Cabriolet. A triple Black example with 65k miles on the clock. Owned since October 2011. It has been a great car, with lots of fond memories and road trips. I was surprised how I really fell for the drop top. Clean car fax! I've attached a build sheet but I'll outline the options and all the work done in my care and any additional items to hopefully cover most questions. I also have all service records back to May 2002. Factory options on the $78,589 build were: Black Exterior Black Interior and Partial leather seats Cup Wheels Full power seat -Drivers side Hi-Fi sound. With added Sony cd changer. (Works but I never listen to the radio in his car). I do have the radio faceplate pouch. Wind stop Limited slip Porsche painted crests rim caps. I've added: 18inch turbo twist (not hollow spoke) with Michelin Pilot super sports on rear added at 63k. Has NSpec PS2's up front, which are in great shape. Fister- stage 2 mufflers, ceramic coated in alloy look nice but sound great! Black mats with red script. Here is the service timeline. 10-2011 Oil service Performed. I purchased it from my employer who at the time was Porsche of Nashua NH. Drove a bit and put it up for the winter. 5-2012 Original clutch replaced with RS lightweight clutch and flywheel kit, all OEM parts. While the engine was out the check valve and rear main seal were replaced as well as a tune up with spark plugs, distributor belt, valve covers, air filter element, fuel filter and a few other very small items like a window switch etc and the mufflers were added. 4-2013 - Oil service Dealer 60k, Brake fluid flush 4-2014 Oil Service at the dealer and check up 61,300 miles 5-2015 oil service state inspection, 62,660 Brake fluid flush? 4-2016 oil service at Precision imports Manchester NH. 64k All the good: Car runs drives and handles great. Sits on the battery tender when not in use. Everything works AC good but might need a recharge don't use it enough. No check engine lights or issues could easily get in and drive to your garage. The car gets detailed by me regularly and the leather is treated with leatherique. The exterior done with 3m imperial hand glaze followed up with p21s paint gloss enhancer and then a coat of P21s Concours Carnauba paste wax. Old school no machines. Black is the most rewarding color to work with. Things that might need to be looked at and addressed in the future: Slight weeping from cam covers, not enough to drip any oil on the garage though. Otherwise bone dry. Cabriolet roof works fine but it has developed wear and a small hole on in the common areas where the roof folds back on its self. Rear brakes maybe needed end of next season. A nice no excuses 993 that is a solid investment you can drive! Asking $50,900 obo.
