1999 Porsche 911 (996) Cabriolet with a TPC Supercharged 3.4L H6 not Turbo
1999 Porsche 911 996 Description
Up for sale is ameticulouslymaintained, executive owned supercharged 996 Cabriolet. I promised my wife a 911 before her 40th birthday, but the problem she is scarred of the manual 6 speed. I even bought her an old junker to learn on but she is still scared of hurting the 911. Needless tosay Itook over the car and have been enjoying it immensely, however happy wife, happy life, so I'm selling it to buy a 911 with an automatic transmission. All work has been performed by my areas local Porsche legend Claudio Kaempf. This car has a newer 440 hp long block so you don't have to worry about the typical 996catastrophicIMS bearing failure! Here is the good and bad of this 911:
The good:
Newer 3.4 L H6 post internal IMS bearing compete long blockLow Total Vehicle Mileage 74240TPC Complete Supercharger Kit Professionally Installed over at $10'000. plus installation440 HPMajor Service in 2015New Clutch in 2015New Dual Mass Flywheel in 2015NewMichelin Pilot Sport Z RATED TIRES 285/40R18/ 285/30R18 in 2015Rolled FendersLowered SupensionTop Gear Stainless Exhaust Mufflers (Sounds Great!) New in 201518 Inch BSA Chrome RimsPremium Leather InteriorHard Top IncludedNo leaks or issuesIce Cold AC (Serviced in 2015)No warning lights, etc.
The body condition is in good condition for the age of the car. I give the exterior a solid 8 for a car of this age with nearly 75'000 miles. There are very few minor scratches, chips etc.consistentwith any driven car of this age.
The bad:
There is a small horizontal paint crack on the right rear side of the bumper that is hard to notice until you know it's there. (Please see photo).Theupholstery fabric behind the back seats (near the automated roll bars) has been glued down. It appears it came loose in the wind. You can see the glue through the fabric if you look hard enough (See Pic). There is a small chip under the hard top, from someone putting it down to0 hard. It did not show up in the picture and is very small. The radio is the stock Becker and sounds pretty weak for such a valuable car. I listen to the top gearexhaustand wanted to leave it stock. There is a tinyimperfection on the hoods paint that looks like a bead of water ran down, but left a dull mark that I haven't been able to buff out. It took me two months to notice it upon buying the car. There is a small hole on the insidefabricof theconvertibletop that is very hard to notice and effects nothing.
As I said overall this car is in great condition. Our business has a greatreputationfor selling on Ebay and I want to be extremely descriptive. For a drivers car this is in excellent condition but it's a drivers car, not a show car.
Thanks for looking and call 269-718-7648 if you have any questions. No trades.....
