This sports car needs nothing. Just someone to enjoy it as I have over the years. I bought this car on my 40th birthday with over 90,000 miles on it after a thorough pre purchase inspection by my mechanic and I have pampered it for over seven years now. Meticulously kept. Always garaged. Never tracked. An all-around fast, lightweight, and perfectly balanced sport car. I have had several 911s but this car is so well mannered with its mid-engine/low-weight design (2,700 lb unladen). Estimated power-to-weight ratio (with upgrades) is almost 10lbs/hp. With brand new Michelin Pilot Sports, it handles like it’s on rails!
I would like to pass it on to someone who is going to take care of it like I have. I have priced this car within the price range of the current 2016 Excellence© magazine buyers guide. The sales price is based upon all of the maintenance, upgrades and part replacements I have done. The Michelins cost me almost $1,500 alone. Here are some to name a few:
new spark plugs;
fuel filter;
serpentine belt;
bought original factory spare tire and tool kit that weren't with it;
bought and installed 6-disc cd changer;
Bluetooth installed;
bought extra convertible air buffeting along roll-bar;
new vented/cross drilled brakes;
new factory OEM rear window (UV protected) installed by Black’s upholstery;
small dings were taken out professionally;
new under body plating to reduce drag;
upgraded GTt3 brake ducts;
KN filter;
new upgraded IPD air intake manifold (gives 15 extra ft lbs torque);
new headers and stainless steel exhaust (at least 30 hp gains);
new oil/water separator;
new upgraded rear lights (RS Spyder);
new 987 style side vents (professionally painted and installed);
new OEM Porsche Techequipment brushed aluminum pedals;
Clutch replacement;
Rear main seal replacement;
Engine Mount replacement;
Recently inspected IMS bearing;
New Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s.
I will also include the original side vents, brushed aluminum bezel instrument cluster (I haven’t had a chance to install it), service records, and ancillary parts.
I would be glad to discuss the particulars and/or show the car to serious buyers.
