1997 Porsche 911 Targa 993 Description

Almost Feels and looks new. Entire 993 Targa is stock, no modifications, even down to the original stereo, except the better Balstine suspension. Rides and handles like smooth and quick. I was very fortunate to find this hours before a couple of people from Europe took it in 2014. I prefer this Rare 993 Targa to go to a decent person who appreciates it and takes care of it. I am not in dire need to sell, hence do not waste my time. No Dealers, or Brokers unless paying full price. I can sell this next year for 90k to 100k, and 5 years from now may be 150k. And I have seen the same car, not as clean with similar miles go for 65k to 80k on ebay in the past 3 months.
NOT A DROP OF OIL IN MY GARAGE IN 2 YEARS OF OWNERSHIP. THIS IS A FANTASTIC 993 TARGA, AND THE GLASS TOP REACHES PRETTY FAR BACK, VERY ENJOYABLE DURING THE NIGHT
I purchased this car as a 1 owner in December 8, 2014 with 64k on it. Belonged to a Female Lawyer. It brought lots of happiness to me, and arrived with everything working perfectly. I initially had Black Forest Porsche and Porsche Independent look at it days after it arrived in San Diego, was perfect. Drove it straight up to northern California 4 hours north of SF near Mendocino County, through mountain passes. The 14 hour drive, Beautiful the feeling was, is an understatement. During the past year, I have only driven it twice a month on average, just so that it starts and gets a little driving. No time to drive. AUTOCHECK ON EBAY VERIFIED WHEN I SMOGED IT, AN THAT I AM THE SECOND OWNER, AND IT GAVE A SCORE OF 85, WHICH LOOKS WAY ABOVE AVERAGE.
Was Garaged all the time the past 2 years, and the 64k before that. I truly took care of this 993 Targa, and did not abuse it...Even Though I owned 911's before, I read the manual twice in detail and a 400 page 993 owners guide on how to maintain and or drive it, to NEVER LUG THE MOTOR WITH LOW DOWNSHIFTS OR LOW UP SHIFTS. ALWAYS DID IT ACCORDING TO THE MANUAL, UNTIL WARMED UP, AND AT RARE TIMES TOOK IT TO 5000 TO 5500 rpm's as its meant to, however, 90 percent of time, my drive was highway, and I up shifted at around 3700-4100rpms.
COMES WITH
Original Owners Manual, Warranty Book, Maintenance book, Stereo Book, and original Drive Block System Code and Stereo Codes for this 993 as well as Original Porsche Owners Brochure.

PICTURES.
SOME OF THE PICS, I TOOK THEM WITH AN SLR CAMERA IN BROAD DAY LIGHT, YOU CAN SEE WHICH ONES. LOOKS EVEN BETTER IN AVERAGE LIGHT. I ALSO DID NOT WAX IT OR CLEAN IT BEFORE THE BROAD DAY LIGHTS PICS AS TO NOT MAKE IT LOOK A GREAT HOW PEOPLE DO TO HIDE THINGS WITH BUFFING AND LOTS OF WAX. THE NON BROAD DAY LIGHT PICS WERE AFTER A WASH.
CONDITION OF 993
Is almost Mint Like New, less the items listed below under "repairs since owned", some road chips on bumper, no dents at all on the this 993, there may be hair line micro fiber scratches if look in the back area, but hard to tell, and may be buffed out. It is a black 993, but it is best defined as excellent condition and the paint is rich and supple as it has been garaged all its life, and no oil leaks, every gear is tight, and every single item has worked lawlessly since purchased, less a head light. The Glass Targa top works perfectly, Tail comes up at 50, AC is cold, Heater works, all power windows and locks work, and odometer and speedometer as well as all gauges work.
Exterior= Excellent-Glass Targa top looks Like new or New.
Interior= Excellent--There are no Tears, seats look almost new, and feel like new.. Same with Dash.

TINY REPAIRS YOU COULD DO TO BE PERFECT, BUT NOT NEEDED.
1.Second Key fob has to be pressed in a particular way for car door to open, but first KEY FOB works good as always.
2. Rear Tail Center right has always had 2 scratches form previous owners garage door, I never replaced the center rear head light as it never bothered me.
3. After putting about 6k on it the past 2 years, there are some small road chips in front bumper, but you really have to look to see them, hence I took the pics in a bright sunlight.
HOW TO PURCHASE
Title of Car is sitting in the Hands of Navy Federal Credit Union, with about a 25k left on payoff. I will be in California for 1 more month, until end of September, and may not be back until November or Late January, hence I am only around the West Coast for 30-40 more days, you can fly down to look at it in my house, and go to Navy Federal to finish the transaction. Navy Federal will give you the title after payment and contract. If you are in California, My registration is good until 2017 spring time.
Again, I prefer to deal with a upright person, and a simple transaction. This 993 is a no brainer, and I know what its worth, how hard it is to find in this color and option package in this great of condition, and I know its only going to go up and up in value. I will not agree to write the selling price for less than the purchase price to save on taxes. That would be fraud. Again, don't ask or expect any shady things.
You can email me, to set up an appointment, or only call me once you are seriously looking to fly down or drive down for purchase. 858.945.4580
Unless you can go back in time 20 years to spend 80k or pay about 200k today to use the same parts and same German craftswoman from the 80's and mid 90's to create this car today, don't call or email me with ridiculous offers of 50 or 60k.. If someone wants this Rare 993, he or she will not bat an eye, and pay to buy it.
This is a legally binding bid, please do not bid unless you have the funds and are serious about owning this 993 Targa.
I tried my best in describing the condition, there may be differences in opinion of its aesthetics and looks. Hence, you are buying it as is with no warranty or returns, and in terms of its mechanical condition which is perfect, you are welcome to have it inspected as long as I am looking at it and its in a possession of a reputable Porsche Shop. Again, I am not in a hurry to sell it, as I truly like this car, took me a year of debating to even post it, as I was not driving it much at all.
The odometer may change up toa couple of 200 miles, as I may actually drive around the block once or twice before it sells.
I DON'T NEED HELP FORM DEALERS OR BROKERS. PLEASE DO NOT ASK
AGAIN, YOU ARE WELCOME TO FLY DOWN, LOOK AT IT, BUY IT, AND DRIVE IT BACK. IT WILL GO FROM HERE ALL THE WAY TO THE EAST COAST WITH NO ISSUES.
EMAIL ME FOR QUESTIONS, OR CALL IF YOU ARE COMING DOWN TO BUY. DO NOT WASTE MY TIME OR YOURS WITH OFFERS. NO DEALERS OR BROKERS UNLESS PAYING FULL PRICE.858.945.4580
I reserve the right to end the auction early to a buyer that may fly down to purchase it or does buy now.
