Some history about the car. The car was repaired by Whitman’s Auto Body, Inc. in San Rafael, Ca. 94901
Whitman’s is also the seller of the vehicle. We purchased the car from the owner who was involved in the accident. He decided not to repair the car because he wanted to upgrade to a 997 Porsche. He (the owner) pushed his insure company to total out the vehicle even though it was not a total loss, so that he could cash out and purchase a new 911. The insurance did issue a salvage title on the vehicle even though the repairs were well below the value of the car. Whitman’s is one of the top repair shops in the Bay area and no corners were cut on the repair to this vehicle.
The vehicle had damage to the left front fender, bumper and left suspension (see photo of damage). The hood and left adjoining door were not even damaged. There was no frame damage to this car, even the inner fender apron had no damage. We replaced the left fender, front bumper, left cooler, and all the left front suspension, including the steering rack. The car drives smooth and straight and we have all the alignment specs after the repairs were completed.
Scargo service center in San Rafael performed all the suspension repairs and engine services and mods to the car. Scargo is a high end Porsche only repair center here in San Rafael. The motor has been inspected for a pre purchase sale and an engine leak down has checked out perfect.
You will not be disappointed with this car, its looks awesome and runs great. The price will reflect a savings but the quality and the condition of the car is superior and not compromised
