2014 Ram 3500 Laramie Description

For your consideration, I offer up El Guapo, as he was named by my kids. I purchased the big fella to haul my young family with bulletproof confidence as we explored our great country in our 30’ Keystone Travel trailer. Over the course of the past three years and 63,000 miles, my man has hauled us flawlessly and in extraordinary comfort from Maine to Arizona and many wonderful memories in between. The big fella’s been to 11 National Parks and many, many state parks. With nearly 110 gallons of fuel capacity on board, I can run from Detroit to Miami and back to Orlando without stopping for fuel. The ultimate bugout vehicle. Installed a 1000 Prowatt Pure Sine inverter to power the kid’s electronics which on all long road trips is critical.

What this truck is not is it is not a bro ride or a beat to crap tow truck. I’m a 52 year old CPA and when not going on our excursions, it was simply my daily driver to the office. It’s never been abused, chipped, deleted, anything. I have made some customizations as noted, but under the hood, it’s all factory. In fact, other than little nuisances that all vehicles have (and good news is I’ve already worked them out for you), I’ve really had no issues at all. It’s been a great truck for us. The only major thing that just got replaced about a month ago is the entire SCR system under warranty. It’s been well cared for and loved with semi-annual spa days and always religiously maintained. All fluids and filters were changed about a month ago.

The only reason I’m selling it is my 2017 is coming in a couple weeks. It’s time to let someone else pick up where I left off. With all I’ve done to it, I’d rather sell it to someone who will appreciate and care for it than trade it in. With the auction, I’m also sending along the factory front bumper (sold the rear) and factory running boards included in the sale just in case you do not share in my tastes. The Nitto Dura All-Terrains in the picture are NOT included. I’m putting them on my new truck but the Highway Grapplers are awesome and have lots of life left.

It’s not brand new and of course has a couple of flaws as pictured. But I’m super picky.

I have the truck listed locally and reserve the right to pull the listing early. Do your due diligence before bidding. Ask questions. Pay for an independent inspection. Phone a friend in Detroit or schedule a time to come see it. Whatever. I’m happy to meet you at the airport (DTW) and or arrange shipping for you. I’d climb in it tomorrow and drive it to Alaska.
