2014 Ram 3500 Tradesman Description

You are bidding on a very clean, lightly used Ram 3500 HD pickup with a full size bed, crew cab, Cummins diesel engine, 4 wheel drive and 68RFE six speed automatic transmission. I had a local dealer pull the build sheet on it, and it has a 3.42 rear axle ratio and 11.50 Dual Wheels Rear Axle. This tuck has an Indiana rebuilt title due to a left front accident on February 18, 2016, which was fully repaired, as shown in the pictures. The fender, headlight and bumper were replaced but the owner had full replacement insurance so the insurance company sold it in fully repaired condition to a dealer in Texas.
I have a full Carfax report which will verify that the truck was sold new by Superior Dodge in Sloan Springs, Arkansas on 3-17-14 (note the dealer name on the large dually mud flaps) and remained in Arkansas, so no northern winters. On 2-18-16 it was in the accident, and on April 30, 2016 after it was repaired I bought it from a small specialty dealer in Denison, Texas with 49,836 miles on it.
We have a small hobby farm in NW Indiana and since then I have used it mostly on weekends and for special trips (kids away to school, etc.) and have only put a little over 5,000 miles on it, and it has run like a brand new truck. After I got it I added the F1 BakFlip folding hard cover, which locks from underneath, so with the locking tailgate it is like having a huge trunk, yet it easily folds up for tall loads and if you wanted to use the goose neck hitch in the truck bed. Note I never used the goose neck, and do not have a ball for the receiver. However if you want to haul a heavy load, it has built in trailer brakes with wiring hookups at the back bumper and the bed.
I have NOT run it in snow, and while we did get some snow in December it was in our barn the whole time. I have little use for a farm truck at all in the winter, so it is as if it spent this winter in Arkansas too.
I also added Weather Tech custom sized floor liners, so the carpet is like new. I also added a chrome bug deflector to match the Chrome Accent Group option the truck came with, and a couple of weeks ago replaced both batteries. I had the oil changed when I got it and again when I got the batteries, so the oil has been changed within the last 100 miles. I have receipts for everything I have done and I will give the buyer the Carfax report.
This is a Tradesman trim level truck with added options of cloth seats and carpet, chrome trim, A/T, 4x4, P/W, P/M, P/L, remote (I have both key fobs) and of course the unbeatable Cummins diesel engine! I do think Cummins makes the best diesel available in a full size pickup. Coming back from Texas (before I put on the BakFlip, which adds at least 2 MPG) I had stretches when the on board gauge was showing 21 MPG at about 70 MPH. Note it has AM/FM and Satellite but no CD, so if you want to listen to CD's you'll have to bring a boom box! It does have a hookup for a CB radio, but I did not put one in.
The rear receiver hitch is Class V, which is a bit bigger than on a half ton, so I got the adapter, which will go with the truck. I have not hauled much with it (a load of sod about 15 miles and a trailer of lumber down from Wisconsin) but when I did it handled beautifully and pulled effortlessly.
I am selling the truck because it does not get enough use to justify such a nice vehicle, and frankly I really don't need the towing capacity of a HD diesel. So I am selling this truck and will probably replace it with a less expensive half ton 4x4. If you have a truck you would like to trade in on it, please give me a call so we can discuss. DO NOT assume I will take a truck in trade unless we have discussed what it is and arrived at a value. I have no problem helping someone trade up into a more expensive truck, but we need to talk first about what you have.
I have the title in hand, and I would be glad to answer any questions you may have. My name is Mike and my cell phone is 219-765-5910. I am a private seller and this is my personal truck. I do not collect any fees or taxes. This is a NO RESERVE auction with a low opening bid, and I am sure the winning bidder will be very happy with this great truck!
Thanks for looking!
