1967 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow 89K Miles, One of a Kind Mystery Celebrity
1967 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow Sedan Description
This car was purchased in 1997 by my husband with 86,100 miles on it. Car is left hand drive. It has a very mysterious history and is the most unique Rolls you will ever see. Both rear windows have "Princess Vera Nocce" painted in gold lettering with a crown. The interior and trunk have meticulously been reupholstered with a brocade material that has silver threads running throughout. The green wool carpet is also edged with the material. The car was purchased from an auction in Las Vegas inn1984 and is associated with Princess Vera Nocce furs, the Vogue company and is reportedly one of 12 cars that were owned by the "Princess". The car comes with service records from 1967-71 obtained thru the RR Owners Club and what information was available online regarding Vera Nocce. Have numerous receipts from restoration. Comes with RR tool kit, jack, and complete RR dinnerware set.Upon purchase my husband began a total restoration. You can see from the engine photos that he totally detailed every part, new hood lining, completely went thru every system including hydraulics, brakes, new water pump, thermostat, new exhaust system, complete repair of any rust, hoses replaced, radiator recored, drain and clean power steering, gas tank removed and lined, new seal in AC compressor, rebuilt fuel pumps, all wood refinished to perfection, alarm and auto lock system installed, new radio/cd with sub woofer in trunk, master cylinders rebuilt. There is a book of 18 pages of detail that was done to this car. Unfortunately he passed away this year and the car must be sold. I have attempted to take as many pictures as possible to show what a gem this car is. The only issues I know of are AC is not currently operating, transmission fluid leak, slight valve tic that doesn't affect performance and paint under back bumper is peeling. Car was repainted from Garnet to white in the 80's, probably the same time it was reupholstered. I will try to answer any questions and can take more pictures if needed. At least you have an accurate account of what has been done. It was his pride and joy and he was a top mechanic and excellent craftsman. You will never see another one like this!!!
On Sep-30-16 at 09:57:17 PDT, seller added the following information:Car will be featured in the next issue of Flying Lady RR magazine(Florida). The editor took pictures of the car and commented "you could eat off the engine." Hopefully more of the mystery will unravel!
