Selling this fine Rolls-Royce automobile for client by request of the client. 1987 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur. 4 door sedan powered by a 412 CID V8 engine . Automatic transmission. A medium dark blue metallic exterior with a blue vinyl roof and a light cream leather interior. Fully carpeted floor and trunk. Automatic door locking system, push button window operation. 71,547 well cared for miles. Serviced by local service station for routine fluid changes, car has not required any major service during current ownership. Yokohama Aegis LS4 P225/75R 15 tires have ample tread remaining and will not require replacement. Cassette radio combination, and electronics for deactivated car phone. This automobile was purchased locally (coastal Connecticut) about 10 years ago, and used primarily as a limousine service for family owned inn to provide sightseeing transportation for guests to nearby Newport RI, Stonington and Mystic CT. The previous owner purchased the automobile new in metro New York. Car has been stored in family garage when not in use and over the winters. The finish of the car is good, but could benefit from from a cleaning, polish and detailing. There are a few (3-5) minor parking lot dings. Also split in paint finish below right headlight, dime size flake in paint at gas cap. The interior is clean, with light wear to the leather driver's seat back edge from years of ingress.. Seat belts are operational, and this has been a smoke free car though current owner's custody.. The interior wood trim on the tops of the door have succumbed to sun and heat degradation, causing the varnish finish to crack and flake off, They should all be refinished to bring back the cars handsome well appointed interior. Also the door edge seal on the drivers side has fallen down, it will need to be re-glued in place, there has been some weather staining to the A pillar interior fabric trim that will need cleaning/refurbishing. The rosewood? dash has some age related varnish cracking as does the fold down rear seat snack tables, mounted in the back of the front seats. I believe all instrumentation is working, as I did not notice any faults on a recent test drive. The car performed flawlessly and provided a very smooth and comfortable ride. We did experience some sticking power window initially, but over time they seemed to work better, they probably will perform better with additional lubrication and use. We failed to try the a/c, on our test drive, but I will contact the owner for verification that it works.A $500 deposit is required after your offer or outright purchase is accepted. The car can be viewed and ultimately picked up in Mystic CT. after all notified. Ask any questions you may have, and I will contact owner for a response and reply through Ebay mail. Additional notes after reading the AutoCheck details: Owner thought she was the second owner, didn't include family conveyances. The 2013 title mileage error is likely clerical.
