1971 Silver Shadow I - Early chrome bumper classic.
No disappointments. Fully serviced and trouble free. No fluid leaks.
The car runs out perfect. Just tap the gas pedal to reset the choke and flip the key. It purrs to life at a high idle around 850RPM. One more tap of the gas pedal and the idle settles down to an absolutely silent 600RPM. At this point you can set off in gear with no clunking or slamming into gear as many a poorly adjusted Shadow do. Driving is absolutely effortless and serene in this car just like the day it was built. A magic carpet in every sense.
Includes all tools and books in untouched condition.
Original leather in exceptional condition, gently mellowed with age and still retaining the original intoxicating aroma of a 70's Rolls. No cracks or crazing and an exceptionally fine polish remain on all wood surfaces.
Impeccably kept and fastidiously maintained (Silver) Silver Shadow. Originally sold by the well known Albers RR/Bentley of Zionsville and maintained there until the late 90s. Greg Albers bought the car back on exchange from the original owner and maintained the car. It was sold later due to lack of use to the third owner. The third owner kept the car in the same area for about 15 years. I am the fourth owner. Never driven in inclement weather and maintained both mechanically and cosmetically to show standards. This is evident by the Best in Class plaque that this car received in show in 2015, the Best in Show trophy and the incredible condition of all components.
Emissions exempt in California and I believe most states with testing. Qualifies for collector plates in all states.

The steering is without play and effortless. All of the electronics work. The seats zip back and forth up and down like new. The windows go up and down like new. The rear windows are not sluggish as they usually are in these shadows. The leather is supple and undamaged, the wood is crack free, the headliner is impeccable. Flawless wrap around chrome bumpers and monolithic grille really set off the shape off the car as a true classic. In fact all of the bright work around the car is without flaw. This car is a show winner for obvious reasons.
