1959 MG MGA

1959 MG MGA 1500 Description

I've owned this car since 1985. It has a 1964 MGB 1800, 5 bolt main, engine that was transplanted some time in the 70's. It's a Northern California car with no rust.
Partially restored beginning in 2003. Complete engine rebuild with about 1,000 miles on it including Weber carb, full header, stainless exhaust, shocks, brakes, negative ground. Body was removed and completely redone to eliminate dents and dings. Perfect paint professionally completed in 2011. Not an Earl Scheib job. Well over $15,000 invested in the body and paint alone. All that is left is to finish the interior with carpet and upholstery.
Runs excellent. Many extra parts as well.
This was a classic during the 50's era ofJaguar, Triumphand Austin Healey.
