1987 Saab 900 Description

This beautiful 1987 Saab 900 Turbo has the SPG/Aero appearance kit and has been immaculately maintained and is ready for summer! Copy this link into your address bar to see a walkaround and test drive of the car: https://youtu.be/-JkTMe0Li4
BACKGROUND: The car is in great working condition although it has some quirks and foibles to be expected from a 30-year-old turbocharged Swedish car. I have maintenance records going back to the original owner, and the original window sticker. This is Southern California car originally that I drove back to Idaho last year. In LA, it was maintained by legendary Saab mechanic Walter Wong at Right Solution, Inc. on Venice Blvd. I'm selling the car due to my purchase of a newer Saab and the fact that I'll be downsizing to a smaller place. I will be sad to see it go! :(
SHIPPING: If you're interested in the car, you can pick it up here in Moscow, Idaho (near Spokane, Washington), or you can arrange to have it shipped to your location. I can bring the car to Spokane, Washington, to help you lower your shipping costs.
Below is the standard "What's Good" and "What's Bad" for this car. I've tried to be as thorough as possible. Please contact me with any questions or for more photos!
WHAT'S GOOD:- Runs and shifts great with original engine and transmission- Turbo boosts strong - I was honestly surprised by how fast this Saab is!- Steering and suspension in good working order- Great brakes- Interior in good condition- Working power sunroof and windows- Maintenance records going back to early 1990s- New battery and starter- Much maintenance done in last few years (have records)- Paint in good condition- NO RUST. NO RUST. NO RUST!
WHAT'S BAD:- Blower fan (and thus heat and A/C) not working- Two-tone (tan and black) interior not original, but looks good- Cruise control not working- Sometimes reluctant to start/run smoothly in cold weather (this is probably an easy fix)- Slight damage to tailgate and rear passenger wheel arch (see video)- The cooling fan runs while the car is on, but doesn't after the car turns off (which it would do under normal circumstances to cool the turbo).
Thanks for looking, contact me with any questions, and happy bidding!
