1992 Saab 900 Description

1992 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible
Car is a great little survivor. The paintstill has a nice shine when you wax. It is showing it's age a bit. More on the right side and rear deck lid, but still looks good.
The interior looks good overall but the front seat bottoms are somewhat worn. Very much functional as they are. The rear seat looks great. The carpet is good and top liner is also very nice. It has a aftermarket Sony head unit with aux. plug and USB port.
The car runs great. It sat for a long time before we got the car so we had the slave cylinder rebuilt, the radiator, many of the hoses and connectors, the thermostat and reservoir replaced new. The shift linkage coupling is new and other misc. things were replaced to get the car up and running again. The car runs, drives, and shifts great. Typical of most Saabs I have owned it has the typical drips here and there. Nothing appears to be major at all. Nothing out of the ordinary for a 25 year old Swedishjet fighter, lol. The power steering pump will need to be replaced soon, this one works but it does leak and it is harder than it should be to steer. There are some on eBay for around 58 bucks.Tires are okay but two will need replacing soon. The a/c works occasionally, no idea when or why. Again, I drive the car everyday with no problem, I am just trying to list the things that I can think of that may be important to you.
I have almost never driven the car that I have not gotten a thumbs up or pleasant compliment. It is always a surprise and fun to see how much people enjoy seeing the little Saab.
It gets really good gas mileage but the gas gaugeis not working so I use the trip to estimate when I need to get fuel. Works every time.
The top is in good shape and does not leak. It is a little bit slow when you first start to lower it but then it is fine the rest of the time. It may be a little low on fluid, I have no idea where the reservoir is located on the car.
I would not be selling if I did not have to, we had no plans on letting this one go. It is really easy to tinker with and there are lots of groups online that are great and quick to help with any information.

There is NO LIEN on this car. No idea why that is showing on vehicle report. The title is clean and clear and in my name! There is no evidence that I can see anywhere on the car of previous body repair.
