2005 Scion tC Description

2005 SCION TC TURBO 18064 ORIGINAL MILES

Feast your eyes upon a beautifully modified SCION TC. This is a one owner vehicle with 18064 original miles. You will not find another SCION TC like this and to replicate this car would be close to $40,000. As you will see, the car has had every possible upgrade you can think of all in the quest of power. This car will even come with a QUAIFE LSD that is still installed in the previous transmission, included for free with the car.

The car was purchased new and was driven NA for approx 9k miles. Then the build started. The original turbo kit made modest power, but the appetite was not satisfied. The car was then sent to BILLET DESIGN in South Florida for a full custom build. The performance shop fabricated every part that was used. The turbo manifold is a custom equal length manifold that cost $3,000 alone. The exhaust, a thing of beauty, is a V banded mandrel bent 3” system. The long block, an $8,000 venture assembled and built by GOLDEN EAGLE sleeves and forged internals, is built to handle all the power you can throw at it. The car at max boost made 600+WHP. After the shop was done, the car was then brought to TPS in West Palm Beach for a new stand alone ECU and the 5 new tunes and required some additional parts. TPS added a custom built intake manifold, external LS coil packs, smaller injectors than the 2nd build required and a rock solid dyno tune.

This car has been to the track for a few shakedown runs, and thoroughly enjoyed on the street. The car has been showcased at a few shows back in 2011/2012 and some pictures are attached. More recently, the car had the transmission fail and sat. Approx two months ago, a rebuilt oem transmission was installed and the car is back on the road. There is a video made last week of the car on 14psi in “MEXICO”. Just a roll on WOT 3-4 run. youtube.com/watch?v=wDjOZd2FJeo The car is very streetable in 14psi and 20 psi configurations. Above that you will need some sticky tires, race gas, and no fear.

When you climb into the cockpit of this car, there are only a few visual cues that point out this car is not for the feint of heart. The first, is the triple gauge pod on the A pillar. You will not be looking at these often as RPM’s climb so fast. Second, is a black small knob. This knob, also referred to as the bravery knob, allows access to the 5 different tunes. Each tune has the accompanying timing/fuel/boost tunes for specific octanes of gas. The first 2 allow pump gas and are incredible amounts of fun on the street. The other three require versions of race gas and will melt the tires.

Here is a complete list of what is done to the car.

Now for a few imperfections with the car. Remember this is a 11 year old car.

Dent on drivers side door

Chip on passenger side door

Hood will need paint correction and/or possible respray

Both side view mirrors need respray or wrap

Car needs paint correction but does not look bad by any means. A nice polish job will really wake this deep blue paint up

Headlights are slightly oxidized and have heat/stress cracks on the top edges but do not leak or hold water

Trunk has scratches from the XM antenna

JL 10w7 needs new surround. JL is located in Pembroke Pines and does this service.

All four tires should be replaced. They look new, but are actually about 7 years old and I would replace.

All four corners need new brake pads. The original off the showroom floor pads are still on the car.

The car has never been in an accident, has a clean carfax and title. When driving this car in 14psi and 20psi maps, you will feel smooth predictable spool and a push you into the seat pull to redline. Car will rev out to 7400+ rpm making power the whole way. That is a far cry from the stock rev limiter because of the gasket matched port/polish and 5 angle valve job. Credit the golden eagle built block and head with eliminated balance shafts and upgraded internals. This car revs like a sport bike and sounds like a tuned exotic! As with all fun projects, the car will make some rattles and the clutch will chatter if you limp leg the engagement. This car is not for the weak willed. It is a race car hiding in a street car’s body. Full interior that shows no age whatsoever. The car is well maintained on the inside, no worn seats, no worn trim pieces. It is gorgeous. The trunk area, again well maintained with a full customs stereo setup. You will notice also the trunk is still completely useful.

Bid confidently knowing you will receive exactly what is being sold. A strong running turbo SCION with extremely low miles. I would highly recommend the car be transported to the purchaser. As explained, the car requires tires and brakes. If needed, I have access to enclosed transport trucks and can provide a quote for transport. Message me for details. Upon winning the auction, a $500 paypal down payment is required with the balance paid via wire transfer or certified check. Bill of sale and signed over title will be provided as well as the above referenced transmission with QUAIFE LSD.
