This is an excellent condition 2012 Scion tC. This car appears to have been pampered and maintained to the highest standard; it is silent, has a strong engine with good acceleration, good gas mileage, and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly. Mechanically it is in excellent condition; it has no leaks, no burning, no smoking, no overheating, and strong brakes. With its low miles, the car has a lot of life left to go and drives like new. All four tires have over 95% tread life left. There is a clean/no smell at all throughout the car. It has a clean and shiny "High Voltage Yellow" exterior and a clean black cloth interior. We obtained the car with 45,000 miles and have driven and tested it personally for over ~6,000 miles and 6 months of highway and city driving; it had oil change also done while it was with us. There is one very minor thing to be noted: the rear left bumper has a scratch (from parking? - see pictures). We are asking $10,495 for this car - an amazing $1,500+ below dealer's trade-in value; this car has a retail or dealership value of over $16,000 and frequently sells for well over $14,000 on Ebay and at most dealerships. The car is clean and in excellent condition just like any Scion tC sitting on a Scion lot. This is an extremely under priced, reliable, and dependable Scion tC that you can get at a steal of a bargain if you are in the market for a great new car that you can drive and enjoy for years to come.
WARRANTY BONUS – we have been very impressed by the performance and condition of this car and by the 100% positive inspections it has received. If the car sells at our asking price of $10,495 we will give a 3 month/3,000 mile warranty, whichever comes first, on the engine and transmission. This is only if the buyer has the oil changed in time at an official Scion facility at the proper time/interval and checks for proper oil levels at regular intervals.
This vehicle has a history of being involved in low lying non salt-water flash flooding. The damages this Scion tC sustained were minimal if any. There was signs of water damage / smell / mold / rusting / etc at all. It appears to have been in a clean fresh water / rain flash flooding which dried out completely leaving no damage or even any "water line" behind when looking behind the carpets and inside the engine bay & wheel wells. The car is completely clean when received through the insurance auction sale and has been driven by us personally with extensive highway and city driving testing. Since this vehicle was involved in a flood, a salvage title was issued on it. The car underwent emissions, brake, and light inspections and tests to ensure that it is a reliable and dependable car for the new owner in factory specifications and conditions. All mechanical and physical inspection showed that the engine, transmission, driveline, electronics, and overall body are all in excellent condition. The car was then inspected at the State Police Headquarters and the salvage status was removed from it. It now has a reconditioned title status which can be transferred with no problems or additional extra paperwork. This car is ready for the road again.
