-Custom center console which houses a 10” screen and is the control center of the truck
-Shaved and smoothed lower dash
-Shaved and smooth steering column
-Removed the air bag and replaced it with a more practical 6” touch screen. (Screen no longer works)
-Seats and headliner are wrapped in authentic football leather.
-Floor has authentic Astro turf for carpeting
-Custom center console that connects the dashboard to the rear enclosure.
-Rear enclosure it was houses the sub woofers, amplifiers and all the fuse blocks including the capacitors.
-Custom made door panels that have been smoothed flat and shaved of all handles and switches
-The back of the vehicle houses the refrigerated keg system. A beverage serving system that can serve any pour able beverage as cold as ice. (Keg not included)
-Everything inside the vehicle is painted to match the overall theme of the truck.
Suspension:
Tein Springs.
So whats wrong with it?
The original air suspension is still installed. The front bags were removed when one burst and the compressor no longer works. Otherwise I have the rear bags and cups and the rest of the system is still wired and piped throughout the vehicle.
The leather used for the center insert of the seats has dried out and cracked, flaked. The football leather however is holding up phenomenally.
The mirrored plexi glass needs to be replaced, due to age the mirrored finish is cracking and now looks like antique glass.
This vehicle needs some TLC, but it was driven very little after completion. Because it has no seat belts it is currently not street legal. This vehicle needs to be seen to be appreciated.
I am willing to trade this vehicle for another project. I love hotrods and customs, RHD vehicles and I love VW's. So if you have a pre 67 VW beetle or Type II, you'll go to the front of the line. I may even consider a custom Thing. Don't be afraid to ask, the worse I can say is no thank you. If you are truly interested, request more photos from me that way you can see its current condition or make arrangements to come see the vehicle in person. I will not release the vehicle until you have seen it in person and have agreed to its condition.
