2009 Subaru Impreza WRX 64,xxx miles, very clean and bone stock!
2009 Subaru Impreza WRX Premium Wagon 4-Door Description
What we have here is a rare specimen indeed. I daresay it's the only one I've ever seen. That's right, a bone stock Subaru! No exhaust, no intake, no engine tuning, no bodykit. No modifications whatsoever! Who'dve thunk that was possible?
Here's the honest pro's and con's about this car. I'm a big fan of no-surprise business transactions, so I've included every little thing you might notice about this car.
Pros:
- ·64,xxx miles
- ·Clean title
- Extremely fun to drive, even without a "rumble" exhaust
- Clutch was replaced about 2,000 miles ago
- Toyo Proxes all around have decent wear on them, but still have life. As an additional purchase, I have Dunlop SP Sports summer tires that have virtually no wear on them.
- ·Fresh tags in August
- ·This car was purchased brand new by my 74 year old Step dad and then sold to me, no horrible driving inflicted on this car.
- ·Premium package, has navi and a touchscreen DVD/CD/Map/Info display
- Heated seats
- Driver's seat adjusts back and forth/up and down/tilt manually. I always prefered that to motors that take four minutes for you to position them
- ·Cruise control
- ·AWD, has been driven in snowy/rainy/muddy weather up north and it's legendary in those conditions.
- ·Maintained very regularly
- ·Very clean inside and out overall
- ·Has an "invisible bra" on the front end. It's basically a really thick, clear sticker to protect the paint. It has done that very well.
- ·Powerful
- ·Gets decent mileage if you learn to stay off the throttle
- ·Extremely reliable
- Bone stock! Has never had any aftermarket performance upgrades!
Cons:
- ·The clutch was replaced (see above in "pro" section) but it has throwout bearing squeak. This is a common problem on subies. If it freaks you out, google it and read the many forum threads about it. It sounds like a cricket, and thumps a bit when you drive for the first 10 minutes or so. It's superficial, but again, trying to be honest. Clutch grabs incredibly well and has at least 50k miles on it, I'd say.
- ·A couple dings/chips here and there (it is a 7 year old car)
- ·Tiny bit of wear on the drivers seat from flopping in and out of it.
- ·There are tiny chips on the hood that are really easy to miss, but came from gravel/road stuff hitting the very thin paint. Also common on subies I hear.
- ·As of this posting there's a crack in the windshield. I will get it fixed in the next couple weeks. I got the crack going through a carwash on a hot day to prep for the photos I'm posting here...so in a way the cracked windshield is Ebay's fault!
- I will not be able to ship this car anywhere without some special compensation and consideration. It's located in the greater Los Angeles area.
That's literally everything I can think of. Some of these you probably wouldn't notice until you lived with it for a while, but I don't like showing up to purchase things and be surprised in a negative way. Sorry if you do like surprises. In that case I can have someone jump out to scare you or something.
