2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited Description

I am selling my 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited 5spd. I've got too many cars right now and need to downsize.

This thing is a real driver's car. A sedan that sportscars can't keep up with. Handling is crisp and responsive due to the KW coilovers and wide Michelin PSS tires. Brakes are Brembos from an STi and haul the car down with authority. The upgraded turbo engine makes 335 hp to the wheels and it makes that all day long thanks to the front mounted intercooler.

All this with enough room to seat full size adults in the back. Leg room is noticeably better than a WRX--I used to have one. It's also a Limited model so there's no racer boy rear wing. That package also includes heated leather seats, sunroof, and climate control.

Issues:

  • There can be a slight shudder when leaving from a stop. The clutch plate may be glazed.

  • Engine misfire CEL only at idle. It does not set the code above idle and does not cause any problems. I reset this on-the-fly with a bluetooth OBD2 adapter (included with sale) and my smartphone. It can go long periods of time without doing this.
