1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS coupe RBP 5 SPEED NO RESERVE
1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS 2 Dr. Coupe Description
Hello, I have for sale my 1999 Subaru Impreza RS coupe 5 speed in Rally Blue Pearl
It has been my daily driver for the past 8 months & it hasn't skipped a beat! It shifts great, the engine pulls very well, all wheel drive works fantastic when the weather conditions are harsh & it looks great too! It has no check engine lights nor any other dash lights. Not only are the coupe RS's difficult to find, but the rally blue pearl 5 speed ones are even harder to find. These are most arguably one of best looking Subaru's of all time. This example Subaru has a clean history. It still has the original title! No accidents or body work.
All of the options work unlike many older Impreza's. Power windows, power locks, power mirrors, A/C, sunroof, cruise control, tachometer, odometer & even the original cassette player!
When I bought the car, I changed the oil/filter, air filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires (NGK blue), front & rear o2 sensors, wiper blades, headlight bulbs, taillight bulbs (led), interior light (led), front door speakers, WRX starter & did a full stage 2 buffing on the exterior. I also changed the brake pads & rotors shorty after.
The Subaru has a couple upgrades as well.
-17x8 Drag DR31 rims
-BFGoodrich gforce comp2 tires w/ about 70% tread
-Unequal length headers, resonator delete, custom twin tip muffler (Sounds perfect!)
-Short shifter, shifter extension, weighted shift knob (I have original knob)
-Larger rear sway bar painted blue
-Clear corner lights, bumper lights & side markers
-Rally armor mud flaps
-Tinted windows & front windshield brow
-OEM rubber floor mats
The interior is in very good shape. Non-smoker. Dash does not have any cracks or fading. Seats are in good shape. All of the plastics are in good shape. I keep all of my cars as clean as I can.
It is however an older Subaru so the paintwork does have it's flaws. The main issue is the infamous rear quarter panel rust. More often than not, the 1st gen Impreza's suffer from this rust issue. The body shop whom I've known for over 10 years quoted me around 500-600 total to have it properly fixed. The exterior has it's normal dings, dents & scratches being an 18 year old car. The passenger side rear brake sometimes makes a slight grinding noise. I suspect it is the dust shield grinding on the rotor.
If you are looking for an awesome Impreza RS with a 5 speed in the best Subaru color, here it is!!
