1986 Suzuki Samurai JX Description

1986 Suzuki Samurai JX 4X4 tin top. For 30 years old its inreally good shape. Itdrives well, starts thefirst time and runs smooth. No smoke or foul smellingexhaust like itsburning too much fuel. Mechanically its fine. Shifts smooth. 4x4 works in all ranges. No leaks on the ground from the vehicle. Inside there is a radio and everything is there as it should be. The heat and A/C work. Dash gaugeswork. Wipers work. Lights work. The seats are not ripped. The carpet in in good good shape but could use a floor mat on the drivers side where your heal sits on the floorboard. The paint looks very good overall. There are a few very light scratches that are not rusting here and there. Honestly nothing major and nothing that a little rubbingcompound could get out.
The underside frame area, fenders front and rear, floorboards, quarter panels and nearly rust free. Like 98% rest free. There are no holes through anything and when Itapped the metal areas it sounded and felt solid. There is a little grime here andthere…..but its 30 yearsold.
Looking under the vehicle the frame is straight front to rear. The structures of the vehicle such as inner quarter panels and fenders, rocker panels and all the structures that would get messed up in a accident are NOT messed up at all. The front doors and passenger doors close flush with the body as would be expected.
So whats wrong that I can see:
On the passenger side of the hoodthere is a strange sort of spot thatdoesn't look like rust but it could be. It is notthroughoutthe metal. Its just aroughspot a little bigger than anickel.
On the drivers door it looks like the middle got acrack in the metal from fatigue and it was welded but not ground off or sanded. Its not a bad weld…just needs to be cleaned up. Its not rusting and the window rolls up and down no problems.
There is asmall dent on the top of the vehicle on the passenger sideabove the windshield. The window frame area is notcompromised in any way and thewindow frameshows no signs ofrust.
There is a small dent on the rear quarter panel justabove the bumper.
These items appear to be verycosmetic.
This vehicle is 30 years old though….but in really goodshape.
