Selling my gorgeous 2015 Model S 60 with only 16,810 miles and awesome Auto Pilot, Auto Parking and Summon feature because I'm upgrading to the Model X.
If you’re considering a pre-owned Tesla, and haven’t experienced driving a Model S with Auto-Pilot, Auto Parking and Summon, do yourself a favor and test drive one at your local dealer before buying one without it! If you’re thinking you would never use it…think again. While I wouldn’t read the newspaper doing 70 mph with Auto-Pilot, it does provide an exceptional level of security that allows you to safely take both hands off the wheel... perfect if you need to quickly focus on your navigation map or even take a bite of your food. Even better, Auto-Pilot takes all the aggravation out of stop and go traffic as the car steers, comes to a complete stop, and goes again without you doing anything. In those very low speed situations, you are completely safe and comfortable reading, eating, or checking and writing your texts and emails. The Auto-Parking feature will park automatically park your car in either a parallel space or vertical space...just turn it on and the car does the rest. With the Summon feature the car will actually park itself in your garage, and come out again...even opening and closing the garage door automatically...just incredible! These are the features that are unavailable on any Model S built before 2015...and the features that will keep resale values high!
This Model S has always been garage kept, never been smoked in, and has never been in any accidents or had any problems whatsoever. With the exception of a small, virtually unnoticeable crack in the plastic driver’s side outside mirror cover (see pic), this car is in the pristine condition you would expect of a low mileage car less than two years old. This car was put into service January 29, 2015 so it still has nearly 2½ years of Tesla bumper-to-bumper warranty which expires January 29, 2019, and nearly 6½ years of the Tesla battery warranty which expires January 29, 2023. It also underwent Tesla’s recommended $600 annual inspection in February 2016 where everything was checked and adjusted and the key fob batteries and wipers were replaced.
This Model S 60 travels 208 miles on a full charge and is Super Charger enabled with unlimited lifetime access to Tesla’s network of Super Chargers. Finished in extra cost Multi-Coat Red with optional Tan Leather Seating and fingerprint hiding Opeche Matt Wood accents, this color combination truly stands out. Aside from the Tech Package with Auto Pilot, Auto Parking, and Summon feature, additional options include the Power Lift Gate and Parking Sensors.
I paid precisely $80,970 for this Model S, and if I didn’t need the extra space of the Model X, it would be in my garage for many years to come. The starting bid of $55,750 is exactly what Tesla wants to give me on a trade in…so they can turn around and sell it for many thousands more. If an exceptional low mileage Model S 60 equipped with Auto-Pilot is what you’re looking for, look no further!
