1995 Toyota Pickup DLX Extended Cab Pickup 2-Door 3.0L
1995 Toyota Other Description
Well I've held on to it as long as I could but I just don't have the time to put in to it to fix the rust and keep it from spreading. So for sale is my mechanically solid but cosmetically challenged 95 Toyota pickup. I'm the second owner. Vehicle was purchased in 2001 with 80,000 miles on it. So in the last 15 years it's only had another 80,000 put on it.

Original steel wheels with all center caps includedBattery cables (and battery) replaced with GM styleside post cables of appropriate length.Matching fiberglass Leer cap
Major work that's been done to it:In 2007 the catalytic converter was stolen. So insurance covered anentire new Toyota exhaust system front to back which is still in good shape. In 2009 at 121,000 miles, the driver's side head gasket developed an external leak with coolantpuddling under the truck. There was no coolant mixing in the crankcase and nothing getting in the combustion chamber. And the engine did not overheat. The following was replaced at this time:Head gaskets (along with all other gaskets removed)Knock sensor harnessFuel Injector o-ringsTiming beltTiming belt idler and tensioner pulleysValve clearances checked and adjusted as neededAt the same time, most brake components were replaced (all rotors, drums, pads, shoes, calipers, and cylinders). Parking brake actuators sandblasted, zinc coated, and sealed with silicone in boots. To this day parking brake works as it should and has not seized. Also all drivetrain fluids replaced. Transmission filled with Redline GL4 synthetic. After putting truck back together the A/C no longer worked and it was determined thecondenser was leaking and was replaced with an OEM Toyota unit. System was properly evacuated and charged and has not needed refrigerant since. In 2010 the water pump let go and was replaced with an Aisin pump. Radiator also replaced. System flushed and filled with correct Toyota red antifreeze. In 2011 the fuel pump and sending unit were replaced with OEM Toyota parts due to a fuel leak from rusting lines.Windshield was just replaced a couple weeks ago. Thepinch weld had a couple spots of minor rust so I cleaned the entire pinch weld to bare metal and applied an epoxy primer. Then had windshield installed by a local company.I just replaced the bed and tailgate with a used OEM. Original bed had quite a bit of rot.The "new" bed has a slight bit of surface rust underneath and some dents but overall is in great solid shape.
The Good:Runs strong and without issue. Transmissions shifts easily, even on cold winter mornings. Everything works. 4WD with A.D.D. functions properly. A/C ice cold and as mentioned, has not needed a charge sincecondenser replacement 7 years ago. Frame is solid. Cab is in good shape except for rocker panels. BF Goodrich AT TA's have quite a bit of tread left but are old and cracking.
The Bad:Rocker panels and fenders have rot. The last time I tried to get it aligned I was told the caster and camber adjustments were rusted solid.Clear coat peeling. Front bumper has some rust holes covered in foil tape so that it'll pass Massachusetts inspection. Rear bumper is long gone but I do have the mounts if you ever want to install a new one.
Included in purchase:Truck as pictured with black bedand tailgate and Leer cap installedFactory steel wheels (with very old tires)Factory service manuals
Truck is sold as-is/without warranty. Please ask any questions before bidding. And just to be clear, the truck is being sold with the black bed and black tailgate installed. The original matching bed shown in some of the pictures, along with thebedliner, has since been removed and scrapped.
