I have a 2005 4Runner up for sale. It's the Sport model with a V8 motor and 4WD. The car has 233K miles, but don't let the miles concern you, it runs VERY smoothly. This V8 motor has an excellent history with primarily highway miles. I'm the second owner and the car was clearly well cared for all its life. It was driven by acorporate exec. as a travel vehicle before I bought it.Options are generally standard and all electronics work. Interior is in excellent shape. It does have the moonroof and towing package. I purchased it from the Northeast, so there is some surface rust underneath, but the body panels are solid. The fuel door has a partially broken hinge, but I have a replacement door for the buyer. Also, the TPMS light is on because of a dead battery in the spare. Feel free to contact me with specific questions. There are a few normal chips and dings and some scuffs on the bumpers, but other than those listed above, the car needs nothing. I'm only selling it since I just purchased a new vehicle. Below is a list of recent additions/repairs.
I have all records from 217K. I do not have receipts from the original owner, only the story I was told, which corresponds to the Carfax report.
New brakes including all rotors and calipers, 217K
New tires, TPMS sensors, and front leveling kit, 221K
New spark plugs, drive belts, and transmission flush 221K
New muffler, 226K
I was told the timing belt was replaced at ~180K miles. I believe this to be true, but I do not have a receipt as proof.
