1967 Toyota Land Cruiser ONCE IN A LIFETIME FIND
1967 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 Description
Bought this FJ40 from a friend in March of 2000, he owned the car for about 15 years or so but just used it for hunting big game in the fall. I finally convinced him to sell it to me, well I have never put it on the road but drove it around my property when not restoring it. It has been garaged since I owned it. Owned two other FJ40s so just kept restoring this one. I media blasted it inside and out and there was only one spot on the rear quarter panel about 4x3 inches which had bondo. The body was PERFECT NO RUST ANYWHERE! For about 15 years I restored this FJ as time and money was available NO shortcuts were taken. Every window rubber was replaced top and mounting gaskets replaced glass as needed replaced. Floors inside all sealed with bed liner produc, redid seats paint and coverings, sunvisors redone. Simply put went through this rig with a fine tooth comb and replaced everything I could even the bolts and screws new and many stainless steel when I could get them. All lenses and bulbs new ! Best you call for any questions to much to say about this project but the mileage on the odometer is not right the original was 40,000+ thousand and after knowing the condition of this car and taking compression test on engine I believe 40,000 is right. Give me a call if your interested it is truly a one in a lifetime find, Tony 541-310-9599.
