I am selling my Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 which I have been restoring for the last 3 years. It is in a very good condition, just ready to have fun.

The restoration consisted mainly of: engine complete overhaul 15,000 miles ago, new carburetor, new HEI distributor, new fuel pump, new brake master cylinder, brake booster overhaul, new high leaf springs 2.5in, new seat upholstery, new carpet, new interior and exterior paint, new front and rear emblems, new door interior covers and locking system, new spare tire, new wheels, among others. There are minor issues that will require some care: heating / defrost system is missed, it doesn’t has A/C, there is a small leak through the crankshaft oil seal, the radio is brand new but need speakers and antenna, otherwise is in very good condition.

This car was made in Japan in 1979 and was released with some extra factory features which are hard to find in FJ40 of these ages like: power steering, front disk brakes, rear wheels actuated parking brake, roll bar and individual seats. The engine is Toyota 2F which is six in line, 4.2 liters.

The car and I are in Quito Ecuador, South-America, so the only option is to pick it up by yourself. Price doesn’t include: custom clearance, import / export duties, traveling expenses, taxes, shipping to the US or other country.
